Baked Mac and Cheese Recipe

Made With: Heavy Whipping Cream

Skip the box of store bought Mac and Cheese! This recipe combines cheddar and muenster cheese with a whole pint of Turner’s Heavy Whipping Cream for the ultimate comfort food. Plus, baking it in the oven gives you crisp, crunchy edges and a creamy, cheesy center.

Here’s how to make the best Baked Mac and Cheese!

Ingredients:

  • 1, 16oz package macaroni noodles
  • 1/4 cup butter, divided
  • 1 lb medium cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/2 lb muenster cheese, grated
  • 1 pint Turner’s Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • salt to taste

Instructions:

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, then add noodles and cook 1 minute less than package directions. Remove from heat and drain.
  • Preheat oven to 375˚ and melt 2 tbsp butter in bottom of large (9×13”) casserole dish in preheating oven.
  • Once butter is melted, remove dish from oven and cover bottom with half of macaroni.
  • Layer with half of cheeses and add a few pats of butter on top.
  • Add remaining noodles, cheese and butter.
  • Mix eggs with heavy whipping cream and pour over casserole.
  • Bake at 375˚ for about 20 mins until thick.
    Taste and add salt, as preferred.
  • Enjoy!
