Ham & Cheese Croissant Bake Recipe

Brunch lovers listen up! This Ham and Cheese Croissant Bake is the perfect for breakfast or lunch, and is just as good reheated as it was the first time around. Although, this dish is so good, you might not have very much left over!

The savory flavors of ham and cheese meet a sweet honey herb butter in this brunch bake. By soaking your croissants in an egg and Half & Half mixture, they come out of the oven deliciously soft and moist! Using fresh herbs instead of dried adds extra flavor and really only takes a minute or two to chop.

This brunch bake can be served as a side or it can easily stand on its own as a full meal. Here’s how to make the best Ham and Cheese Croissant Bake!

Ingredients:

  • Croissants (6-8 depending on size)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup Turner’s Half & Half
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 package deli ham (can substitute with prosciutto or turkey)
  • 16oz block of swiss cheese (or preferred cheese), sliced
  • about 1/2 cup (a handful) mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 stick butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup honey

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 350˚.
  • Cut croissants into thirds.
  • Mix eggs, Turner’s Half & Half, spices and half of herbs in a bowl.
  • Dunk croissant pieces into mixture and place in a 9×13″ baking dish. Pour remaining mixture overtop.
  • Fold ham into triangles and place between croissant pieces.
  • Place swiss cheese slices in remaining gaps between croissant pieces.
  • Top with a generous handful of shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake uncovered for around 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  • While baking, mix melted butter, remaining herbs and honey in a bowl.
  • Remove bake from oven and paint with herb butter.
  • Enjoy!
